The gift may include baby shower invitations that you can use to invite people to the shower.

Most of the popular outlets such as Babies R Us, Wal-Mart, and Target all have a baby shower registry for the couple. Friends and family who wish to buy a gift for the couple can visit the store or go online and print out the list.

The only information that they would need to know is their last name and the state they live in and a list of matches will appear. If they cannot find the baby registry kiosks in the front of the store, they can ask customer service for the list and they will be happy to print it out for them.

The baby shower registry may also be found online or at the retail outlets website. You can search their baby registry on the Internet and buy the item (s) online without ever stepping foot into a store.

With the baby shower registry in hand you can then scan the list and figure out which item (s) you wish to buy the couple depending on your budget.

Sometimes people feel awkward about selecting from a predetermined list and would rather purchase a gift card in its place.

Most parents are more than happy to use these cards and often add them to the registry itself. If you are having problems finding an item listed on the registry you can always ask a customer service representative who will point you in the right direction.
